Biography #

I am Eliezer de Souza da Silva, Assistant Professor at the Department of Informatics Engineering, University of Coimbra. My research centers on probabilistic AI, Bayesian machine learning, amortized inference, and trustworthy decision-making.

I hold a PhD in Computer and Information Science from NTNU, an MSc in Electrical and Computer Engineering from UNICAMP, and a BSc in Computer Engineering from UFES.

I collaborate with researchers at the Basque Center for Applied Mathematics (BCAM), Fundação Getulio Vargas (EMAp), and other international institutions.
